West Side Cook Inlet

So close, yet so far, the West Side of Cook Inlet is only a 20-minute flight from the Kenai Peninsula but is a whole different world.  Located on the main Alaska Peninsula, the West Side of Cook Inlet is a far more remote place than the Kenai Peninsula as it is not road connected from Anchorage and is for the most part only accessible by plane. Our Alaska Fishing guides regularly frequent several Cook Inlet fishing locations including Crescent Lake, Big River Lake, the Kustatan, Bachatna Creek, and the Chuit, and primarily target sockeye salmon in June and July and silver salmon in late July, August, and September.  Wildlife viewing, glacier flights, and overall spectacular scenery all combine to make the West Side of Cook Inlet an amazing addition to your Kenai Peninsula Alaska fishing trip.
