So close, yet so far, the West Side of Cook Inlet is only a 20-minute flight from the Kenai Peninsula but is a whole different world. Located on the main Alaska Peninsula, the West Side of Cook Inlet is a far more remote place than the Kenai Peninsula as it is not road connected from Anchorage and is for the most part only accessible by plane.
